I was very fortunate during the past months to work on the Audi e-bike for this year’s Wörthersee show. I was one of 2 designers and many great engineers who helped pull off a working bike that can handle some real stunt work. Working as a team was key to this project running smoothly as we were working within a very tight timeframe. For all of you currently attending Umea, or thinking of applying, make the most of your time there by working with your  classmates. Building great working relationships is just as important as your sketching and rendering abilities. Enjoy!

I’m sitting in our studio with a cup of coffee. Friends are slowly filling up the desks around me and even though everything is as we left it before christmas, there’s a new spirit. I hope that everyone has had a nice holiday and celebrated the new years arrival in proper manners =) 2011 is here and let’s make it a good one! Fill your cups with coffe and trigger creativity with cheerful mood.

Some friends are leaving for internships with eager steps and well known faces are returning to UID. TD will be different but fresh. And for the ones sprinting on the home stretch for graduation, I say Go for it! I wish us all a happy, new and exciting year in TD! See you around =) //Stark
