I got a good taste for Volvo’s this week on our class trip. I was inspired by a race-spec Volvo 142 to do this render. I actually used an old race photo and sketched over it, trying to keep that retro feel to it. The original can be viewed here.

This week our TD2 class was out in Göteborg getting a taste of Sweden’s automotive industry visiting some assembly plants, design studios and museums. Today, Sweden’s Saab brand is dead. It’s only fitting to post some of the pics from the Saab museum in Trollhättan. Also, that Aero X still looks great.
