Thanks to Pantural for this fascinating CG movie. His personal project shows what self motivation and a strong work ethic can do.

Yongbang Ho and I entered the Designboom / Nissan “Think Outside the Parking Box” design competition. I’m proud to say that out of 3059 designers from 96 different countries that participated, we won second place. Yesterday evening they posted the results which means we can start posting it as well. It was fun playing part city planner and part architect and coming up with something totally different. To see the results, check out the coverage on Designboom.com

designers review

Some link to share for your weekend read – some articles might be interesting.

The Vehicle Designers Review is an Emag about vehicle design,  technologies and solutions for vehicle designers.

Maybe we can start thinking if we should send in some stuff if they are doing a new issue as Coventry and RCA are featured…

Smart Fortwo and Jaguar E-Type

Or should I say in peoples’ size? I’d say it’s probably a combination of both the increase of height of the average person through the decades, and the increase of our minimum requirements for spatial comfort level. One can’t help but wonder where is this leading us. In any case this photo (that I shot in London) makes me feel lucky I’m not too tall.
